Film Name: 误判 / The Prosecutor / Misjudgement
To be honest, before watching “The Prosecutor”, I really didn’t pay attention to who the director of this film is, until the end of the film appeared a big “Donnie Yen”, I realized that this is Dan’s self-directed works.
Although Donnie Yen has been a director in the past, “The Prosecutor” is obviously more suitable to be regarded as his work of transformation, not only because the film’s literary drama has put in a lot of effort, not inferior to the martial arts drama, but also because of the film’s characters and plots, all added to his thoughts on action films and identity change.
