The biggest impression of Warriors of Future is that the movie has a good mix of martial arts and literature, and doesn’t make the mistake of dragging its pace – I was a bit worried when I first heard that the length of the movie had been cut to 99 minutes, but if it was the literature that had been cut, I’d have to applaud it.
The story of the movie is very simple: in a post-apocalyptic state of the Earth was hit by a meteorite, above the alien plant “Pandora” has both a strong aggressiveness, but also has the effect of purifying the air of the Earth, in order to rush to the destruction of Pandora before the completion of the genetic modification of its B16 air combat troops must work hard to complete the task.
The basic setting of the film exists only as a backdrop, and viewers need only know that with the Earth’s air polluted and living on the protection of the canopy, Pandora has given mankind the opportunity to make their own choices based on the premise of a blessing and a curse.

There are indeed quite a few plot holes and awkward scenes in this movie, fortunately not to the point of being particularly bad …… The right way to watch Warriors of the Future is to enjoy the hardware metrics of design, mecha, monsters, and action sequences within.
To be honest, the most surprising part of the movie is that there are a lot of alien creatures in it. The Pandora, which can grow quickly after absorbing water and has the characteristics of a carnivorous flower, is just an appetizer, but what is more eye-catching is the fast-moving alien dog, which I’d like to call the “Lobster Dog” (with the characteristics of the alien shrimp from District 9 and the “Master Licker” from the Resident Evil series). I’d like to call it a “lobster dog” (along with the alien prawns of District 9 and the “Master Licker” of Resident Evil).
In a movie that focuses on hardcore mechs, having such a troublesome group of opponents adds to the action scenes.
The centerpiece of Warriors of the Future is the human mechs fighting to save the planet.
The overall style of the mechs, vehicles, robots, airplanes, and other instruments and tools in the film is westernized, but it doesn’t exude a sense of plagiarism or cheapness of picking up the pieces.
The humanoid mechs contain simple steel exoskeletons as well as heavy armor that wraps around the entire body. I kinda like the heavy armor on the two main characters, with basic bracers, movable visors, jet thrusters, and other designs that enhance the soldier’s combat abilities, are practical, and aren’t too fancy.
Of course, the design aspect of the style is no longer good-looking is just a flowery frame, the armor is hard enough, but also depends on the actual combat can not, fight good or bad looking.
Warriors of the Future” in the action scene put a lot of thought, both the excitement of close combat, but also the tension of the long-distance pursuit, and the first-person perspective of the flash-forward, immersive viewing experience and ‘tall’ type of large-range shots are not lacking, it is really enjoyable to watch.
Moreover, the film has arranged the alien “lobster dog” and combat robots and other waves of enemies, while at the same time taking into account the display of heavy armor responsive mobility and “fist to the iron” of the sense of combat, fully wearing a mech of the person’s combat skills show to the place.
However, out of selfishness, I personally prefer the two heavy robots named after the characters of the “Classic of Mountains and Seas” in the movie: Poor Qi and Interceptor.
Poverty is one of the four evils, resembling a tiger, with wings and a vicious nature – the robot Poverty’s strengths also favor speed, and its two pairs of front and rear robotic arms combined with tracking missiles and machine guns make it a fearsome hunter.
Interceptor is an ancient giant, beheaded by the Yellow Emperor, but still fighting – robot Interceptor is good at attack and defense, 6 adjustable limbs and legs can adapt to most of the terrain, radar and scanner can help it become half of the command terminal, and the energy cannon ensures that the absolute lethality.
These two big guys can please me, mainly because their characteristics are quite in line with their archetypes: “like a tiger to add wings” of the poor Qi’s movement is rapid, and will not stop; Interceptor is powerful and heavy, extremely difficult to deal with, and indeed some of the “breast as the eye, navel as the mouth” of the war generals! In the film, the poor and the mech warriors together to provide a thrilling and hot highway chase scene, individual action scenes I even feel that it is not inferior to the “Transformers” film, and Interceptor plays the role of the big boss, both offensive and defensive, fully functional, it ensures that the final battle of the scorching and intense.
Warriors of the Future is really outstanding in terms of graphics and special effects, but what impresses me more about this movie is the fact that it’s “ready to go” – the fact that it’s “ready to go”!
